Romantic Bay Area Engagement in Marin, California
This engagement session in Marin County in Northern California got me all heart-eyed and screaming over how gorgeous of a backdrop nature provided us. After a 6-hour drive from SoCal - a drive I had done so often back in college to visit family - it was so nice to be back up in Northern California and soaking up the cool weather and foggy skies, which are always a nice change from LA’s hot and dry summer. (*cue all the Bay Area folks who look at me like I’m crazy when I say I love the grey mornings, haha!)
This location is essentially in my cousins’ backyard in Mill Valley and I am forever jealous of it. (That said, I’m gonna make it a point to visit my family in NorCal more often, so if you’d like to work together, slide into my contact form and LET’S DO ITTT.) My cousin wanted to tag along for this shoot, and wow am I glad he did! I had initially selected a spot in Mt Tamalpais State Park, but Josh, my cousin, pointed me to somewhere even better. (Always great to have a local’s knowledge of the area!) We drove up the mountain which was shrouded in thick fog, and eventually got above the clouds. I might have screamed. It was one of the most dreamy sights I have ever taken in, and honestly something we may never quite get in Southern California.
