Coastal SoCal Elopement in Palos Verdes

Palos Verdes has become my go-to area in Southern California for stunning cliffside locations without the crowds that Malibu or Sunset Cliffs typically get. So when Bri & Sean reached out about their elopement and described how the beach/coast was a huge part of their relationship (which started during the COVID years), Palos Verdes was my first recommendation for a location to consider. As it turns out, it also happened to be the mid-point for their families who would be coming from Orange County & Santa Clarita, so it made sense to have their elopement here.

Their Leap Day elopement was nothing short of special. Despite cloudy skies all morning, the atmosphere at their Palos Verdes airbnb was anything but gloomy. Any stress that was felt was also lifted after their first look — which I’ve noticed always tends to be the case! (In case you’re debating whether to have a first look or not…!) The clouds parted just before their ceremony, and cloudless blue skies greeted us when we arrived at their ceremony spot on the cliffs.

In the weeks leading up to their day, SoCal was dumped with rain… which in turn led to the most lush and green hillside/cliff-tops I’ve seen here. I’ll let the pictures to the talking so keep scrolling to see!

Kind words from B & S:

“I truly cannot give Pam enough praise for what she did for our wedding! I found Pam through Google and she helped me plan a micro-wedding in less than 2 months. From the start, she made us feel like we weren’t crazy for attempting such a short timeline. She was so responsive to all of our emails/questions and gave us so much helpful advice. I knew she was going to be amazing when she took the time to go to the location we wanted, take videos addressing our names and giving us other locations/ideas we hadn’t initially thought of. An even more amazing part was that she gave us 60 beautiful sneak peek pictures the DAY after our wedding! We weren’t expecting it but it was the greatest surprise! To have those photos and to be able to share it with friends and family without having to wait weeks for a whole gallery was such a wonderful treat. When we did receive the whole gallery only a month after our wedding, we were BEYOND happy with how the photos turned out! Pam is truly an artist. She is fun, extremely talented, and makes you feel comfortable in front of the camera. Would definitely recommend her!!!”'

“Pam was amazing and was with us every step of the way from planning stages all the way to big day. We had some ideas of what we wanted to do for our small outdoor wedding but were honestly pretty lost. Pam had so much insight and recommendations, I don't think we would of pulled it off without her.

Photos themselves were perfect. Pam captured everything on our wedding day and we couldn't be happier. I'll be highly recommending Pam to anyone I know looking for photographer!”
